Senator demands inquiry into ‘terror’ funding
May 4, 2012: In a letter sent to Foreign Minister Bob Carr, Victorian Liberal Senator Michael Ronaldson cited evidence collected by Israeli civil rights organisation Shurat HaDin, which alleges that the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC), based in Gaza, is a subsidiary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).Read more...
US Supreme Court Dismisses Torture Case Against the Palestinian Authority on Technicality
April 19, 2012: Shurat HaDin – Israel Law Center has received notice that the US Supreme Court decided to dismiss a lawsuit brought on behalf of the family of a Palestinian-American murdered at the hands of Palestinian intelligence officers in Jericho in 1995. The Court ruled that the Torture Victim Protection Act, as it is currently drafted, did not allow the family to sue the Palestinian Authority and Palestine Liberation Organization.Read more...
Israel Law Center Calls on Attorney General to prosecute 'flytilla' activists
April 12, 2012: A civil rights group called on Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein on Thursday to prosecute pro-Palestinian activists who come to Israel as part of the mass “fly-in” or “flytilla” event scheduled for Sunday. In their letter to Weinstein, the Israel Law Center (Shurat Hadin) said those “flytilla” activists who come to Israel would be acting in violation of Israeli law, including the Penal Code, the Police Ordinance and Emergency Regulations.Read more...

February 12, 2012: Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, an Israeli lawyer with a mission. Established her organization based on the American model of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which had successfully filed legal challenges to thwart the Ku Klux Klan and others it deemed racist. She was determined "to go after terrorists in the same way" in which the Center pursued its foes: through civil litigation. Named Shurat HaDin, the Israel Law Center has become the bane of anti-Israel groups throughout the world.

september 26, 2011: When we recently learned that the Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who was attending the UN's opening activities in New York, had been invited to dinner by a group of Columbia University students we knew we had to act. . We recalled that in 2007, Columbia had also shamefully invited the Iranian leader to speak, providing him with a platform to present his perverted ideas to an international audience while clothed in the vestments of the University's legitimacy.
